Nature lovers will be delighted by the many good hiking opportunities in the area, where you can go on easy hikes for the whole family as well as more challenging mountain hikes. The area is also a good starting point for day trips to the city of Haugesund or Karmøy with the small towns of Åkrehamn and Skudeneshavn. Ryfylke and Hardanger with national tourist routes are also nice destinations.
