Haarlem
The capital of Noord-Holland is the city of Haarlem. The city lies just outside of Amsterdam and was once a major North Sea trading port. The city has retained its typically medieval character and the centre is made up of cobbled streets and laneways and traditional houses. The area is also known as a major flower-bulb producer and the city is surrounded by beautiful tulip fields which you can visit whilst renting one of our range of Holland accommodation.
