Danish cottages on Møn

Besides the countryside Møn is rich in cultural history. The island has been inhabited for thousands of years, and one of the best preserved ramparts dug up in the land of the Danes is to be found here. Also visit the collection of ancient churches in Møn like the 13th century Fanefjord Kirke with its ancient frescoes or Stege Kirke with its crude but endearing carvings.

Møn is ideally located to enjoy the unique flavours of the Danish palette. Of course seafood is the star of the show, with dishes ranging from traditional salmon smørrebrød (open faced sandwiches) on homemade rye bread, to freshly-caught fish expertly crafted into sushi rolls.
