This is also where the holiday home's boats are moored. Walk the few steps to the lake and cast your fishing line into the water. If you're lucky, you can barbecue the freshly caught fish tonight. If you don't want to fish, you can pick mushrooms and berries or swim in the lake. There is a bathing area with jetties just a few minutes' walk from the house. The hiking trail around the lake runs directly in front of the house.
If you want to be sure of seeing a moose, you can take part in a moose safari in Markaryd. Vallåsen Bike Park offers downhill biking on Hallandsåsen and is a real hit, as is the Kungsbygget adventure park with summer tobogganing, climbing walls, zip lines and more. The open-air museum Ingeborrarp is also worth a visit and the Pinnån nature reserve will delight any nature lover.
