Several popular destinations in the area are in the immediate vicinity: the knight's castle Spøttrup, which offers a variety of events with music, markets and exhibitions almost all year round, the Jesperhus flower park near Nykøbing Mors or the open-air museum Hjerl Hede in Vinderup, where in June about 100 men and women dressed in period costumes bring the times of our ancestors back to life and where more than 40 houses illustrate the development of the Danish village in the period from 1500 to 1900.
