Description

This inviting and well-maintained vacation home in the beautiful Flemish countryside Westhoek is wonderfully furnished and perfect for a varied vacation with the whole family. The fantastically furnished vacation home is situated in a quiet location in the meadows between the towns of Poperinge and Veurne, near the French border. Feel free to take your dog with you on vacation. The large garden is completely surrounded by a high fence and offers a great view of the countryside. The garden is also equipped with a cozy picnic table, sun loungers, barbecue, trampoline, soccer goal and badminton rackets. This completely renovated cottage was a cafe in the past, today still recognizable by the beautiful bar in the large dining room. In the cottage there is also a cozy living room with a smart TV. The country kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, deep fryer, toaster and hand blender. A small staircase leads to the toilet and a cozy bedroom with bunk beds. On the second floor are the other 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet.

Westhoek is a beautiful unspoiled region that is great to visit from this vacation home. Take a walk or a bike ride along the banks of the Yser River and be amazed by the stunning scenery. The vacation home is located near Poperinge, a pleasant town with nice stores, restaurants and leisure facilities. Entertaining excursions for the whole family are offered by De Zonnegloed Animal Park 8 km, the open-air museum Bachten de Kupe 10 km, a guided tour and beer tasting at the St. Bernardus Brewery 11 km, the Belvedère Tower in the picturesque village of Kemmel 23 km, Plopsaland De Panne 24 km, and the Bellewaerde amusement and water park 25 km. A visit to the historic towns of Veurne 22 km and Diksmuide 24 km is also interesting. The fabulous city of Ypres impresses with sights such as the Gewandhaus, the Menenpoort, the fish market and the In Flanders Fields Museum. From this vacation home you can also spend a day at the beach, for example in De Panne or Koksijde. It is also worth visiting the small French towns of Bergues 18 km and Saint-Omer 43 km.
