The terrace is equipped with a gas barbecue including gas, garden table and chairs so that the whole family can enjoy a good dinner together.

The beach is very fine sandy and has a shallow, child-friendly coastline with a sandy and rocky bottom. There is also a bathing jetty, a wheelchair ramp to the water and a picnic area. A marked cycle path called Vandvejen leads from the beach to Kolding. The beach is only a short walk from the house, about 500 metres. Close by, in the other direction, is the forest, where you can go for long bike rides or walks and enjoy the deep tranquillity of the forest.
