In Caumont-sur-Durance, you can stroll through a beautiful Roman garden and walk along a marked path to a panoramic tableau from where you can enjoy the view of Mont Ventoux and the Alpilles. A visit to Avignon is sure to meet the expectations of architecture-loving holidaymakers, who will particularly appreciate the old Palace of the Popes and the Place de l'Horloge. You can then discover the Ile de la Barthelasse and the Rocher des Doms in Avignon. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is also worth a visit. This charming town is home to a typical Provençal market and is known for its numerous antique and bric-a-brac shops. Old paddle wheels add to the charm of a trip along the Sorgue and a floating market is held here once a year. A traditional market in medieval costume is also re-enacted, with vendors offering their wares on boats on the Sorgue.
