Description

Located in the Natural Regional Park of Périgord-Limousin, on the side of the village of Jumilhac in north Dordogne, is this part of an old restored farm overlooking the countryside. Boasting its own private pool with lovely views it has modern decorations such as a massage shower and Jacuzzi but has retained its old, characteristic features, paved floors, low beamed ceilings and tiled walls. Outside the property there is a beautiful terrace area with banana tree, perfect for evening meals, and grounds that contain the owner's sheep. The owners parents live in the farm next door. Explore the local area with walks all around and the large lake with beach at only a 10 minutes drive. The imposing town of Hautefort with a château and medicine museum is slightly further to the south as well as the towns of Sarlat and Les Eyzies. Montignac is 68km away and is home to numerous caves and the old town of Limoges, 50km, possesses a wonderful porcelain museum.
