Description

This vacation home in Nadrin, in the largest village of the municipality of Houffalize, is a farm renovated from scratch with its own garden of 3,000 m2. Under the fruit trees you can relax on the deck chairs provided. On the south terrace you can enjoy the sun in a sheltered position from early spring to late summer. On the first floor there is the living room with several seating areas, a semi-open fully equipped kitchen and a separate living room with sliding doors to the terrace. There is a utility room with washing machine and dryer and a guest toilet. On the second floor you will find four spacious and comfortable bedrooms. In the smallest bedroom there is a bunk bed. In addition, the two bathrooms are also located on this floor. Your comfort has also been thought of if you are staying with small children. So there are three baby beds, baby and toddler toys and the garden is completely fenced. The bars of the garden gate on the street side are also very close. The inflatable hot tub in the garden can be used on request and for a fee. The cover for this is attached via a zipper, again for the safety of the very young guests. Older children can play soccer and let off steam to their heart's content. There is plenty of space for this. You also have a very good wifi connection. The cottage is an ideal accommodation for a family vacation with children.
In Nadrin, among other things, the bakery, grocery store, pharmacy and three restaurants are within walking distance. Houffalize is 9 km away and is famous because of the mountain bike world championships. Houffalize is located 10 km north of Bastogne in the High Ardennes. The area remained undiscovered for a long time, which means that nature has been completely preserved. You can enjoy fantastic views here. Nearby are the dam of Nisramont with a beautiful lake, the Vallée des Fées (Valley of the Fairies), where La Chouffe beer is brewed, and a recreational lake. The ruined castle in La Roche-en-Ardenne is definitely worth a visit.
