Bale
If it is peace and tranquillity that you crave, then look no further than one of Istria’s best kept secrets:the wonderful town of Bale. Situated just 7km from Istria’s picturesque coastline and nestled on a hill, approximately 140 metres above sea level, the charming town is home to winding medieval cobblestone streets and a selection of NOVASOL’s Croatian villas. The ancient townhouses, the impressive baroque St Julian Church and the medley of taverns, shops and galleries found within the town create a somewhat bohemian vibe.

Admire Istria’s natural beauty
A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere charms guests in our villas in Istria throughout the year. The surrounding landscape is just as impressive, dotted with picturesque scenery and dominated by agriculture and vineyards. It is no surprise, therefore, that both the locals and guests in our holiday lettings claim that the best Istrian wines are produced in the vineyards surrounding Bale. Be sure to visit a wine cellar to sample some of the region’s most delicious wines, enjoyed by guests in our Istrian villas and apartments in Split alike! – Perhaps you’ll want to purchase one to savour in your Croatian villa.
Family holidays abroad: Visit Bale
Bale is a fantastic option for those seeking a relaxing yet fun-filled stay in our Croatian villas. Hire a bike and discover one of the four marked cycling trails in and around Bale; perhaps you’ll wish to discover the 19km long Dinosaur Trail which extends all the way to the coast or alternatively admire the scenic countryside during the shorter Fontana trail – a particular favourite for fans of our forest holidays! Horse riding is particularly popular in the area, whilst those who prefer to keep their feet on their ground can explore the town’s walking trails.
Seaside holiday lettings in Bale
Fans of the seaside may wish to head just 7km to the coast to try your hand at sailing or to simply enjoy a game of volleyball whilst watching the sun set on the horizon. Take long walks by the sea and admire the breath-taking views of the sea and the Brijuni islands. For guests who have previously enjoyed the coastal views during a stay in our villas in Istria, why not head to Bale to enjoy similar views of the Adriatic whilst experiencing the endearing Istrian lifestyle?
Discover Dinosaurs, Fascinating History and our Accommodation in Dubrovnik
Whilst staying at our villas in Croatia, be sure to discover the fascinating Colone Cove. It is here that several species of dinosaurs have been discovered and since preserved in the Paleontological Museum in Monfalcon. Although the area was once frequented by dinosaurs during the Triassic era, the picturesque town dates back to the more recent Roman era. For this reason it often attracts guests keen to explore Croatia’s fascinating history – why not combine it with a holiday in our accommodation in Dubrovnik, where you can discover the town’s fascinating history and delve into the interesting past of the Dalmatia region?
