Liznjan in the west of Istria has an unspoilt, 28 km long coastline, and an attractive, unpolluted sea. It is unsurprising that such clean waters produce such fresh and bountiful seafood. Liznjan was described in the year 990 by a Greek historian, who highlights, among other things, that the area is infamous for good wine.
