Bornholm's most famous attraction of the Hammerhus - Scandinavia's largest medieval fortification - is reachable in just 15 minutes by car. Ruinen Hammershus is on the left side of Bornholm's tip, so you just have to cross this part of the island to get there from your holiday home. Not far from Sandkås lies the town of Gudhjem, which offers both artistic and fine dining experiences - the perfect opportunity to try some unique Danish cuisine. From Gudhjem you can also take the boat to Christiansø. In addition to Allinge and Sandvig, you can also visit Hasle, which you find about 16 kilometers southwest of Sandkås. The lively little village has a rich history, and here is the harbor the natural center.
