Buenavista is in the greener and vegetated part of Tenerife and is well known as a destination for golf due to the Buenavista Golf Course, which was designed by Seve Ballesteros. The golf course has superb views and the 18 hole course offers a challenge for even the best golfer. Top golfers visit Buenavista and the Tenerife Ladies Open is also hosted here, which is worth watching while on holiday in one of our holiday homes in Spain.

The rugged coastline is a beautiful place to visit whether to watch the fishermen, swim in the rock pools or head to the pebble and black sand beach called Las Arenas. At Las Arenas you will find more locals than tourists and it is also a good place for surfing or just taking in the incredible views. In this area, you will find good restaurants which serve the best local fish specialities. If the weather is not so good, you can drive into the Teno mountains on the winding mountainous roads as the weather and landscape will change as you head towards Punta Teno.
