Villas in Benidorm

If you’re looking for a holiday in Spain off the beaten track, look no further than Benidorm. Benidorm is a picturesque city in the province of Alicante in eastern Spain. Originally known to British tourists for its popularity for attracting stag and hen parties, the city now has a more family friendly vibe without losing its amazing night life! Our villas in Benidorm are incredibly close to the city centre, allowing you and your family quick access to all there is to enjoy!

Villas in Benidorm - Things to do

Our villas in Benidorm are a quick ten minute taxi ride to the city centre. Once you arrive in the centre, don’t miss out on these sights!

Start out your day exploring the city’s massive skyscrapers. There are over three hundred skyscrapers to explore. In the 1950s, the mayor of Benidorm decided he wanted to hoteliers to build upwards rather than outwards, so every visitor could enjoy the beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. Known as the Dubai of the Mediterranean and also as Little Manhattan, these high rise buildings keep everything in close proximity and can host over 500,000 tourists at any time.

The city also has great shopping areas. Go bargain hunting at the Benidorm Outdoor Market, on Wednesdays and Sundays. Local vendors set up tents showcasing their wares. They range from leather fashion goods and accessories, novelty items and knick-knacks of all sorts, household items, and food.

Although some items bear price tags, most don’t, so you can – and should – always try to  bargain hard for better prices. There are regularly opened cafés along the opposite side of the highway, where you people-watch over a coffee or beer.

Wondering what to do in the evenings? Our villas in Benidorm are very close to the city’s thriving night life. Bars and clubs are abundant and lively, and each venue offers something different. Live bands playing classic rock and Top 40 songs, late-night dance clubs, and laidback bars that simply focus on drinks with terraces to take in the views over the promenade.

One of the best streets to find an eclectic mix is Calle Gerona. It’s where bar and pub crawls are common. There are plenty of stops in between for fun and games, and even foam parties.

Nature in Benidorm

Once you’ve experienced all the city has to offer, take a trip outside of its limits to enjoy Benidorm’s amazing nature. Around 15 minutes’ drive northeast of Benidorm, the region’s rugged terrain makes for scenic hikes with panoramas over the Mediterranean as your reward.

There are different organised hiking routes that you can take. They’ll help you discover secret coves along the coastline, sightings of wildlife, and even lead you up to a lighthouse or a scenic headland for best vistas. A regular route towards the cliff-edge Camino del Faro track can be accomplished within a 3 to 4- hour steady hike.

Our villas in Benidorm also provide quick access to the city’s amusement parks. There is Aqualandia, the largest aqua park in Spain with one of the tallest slides in the world – a great place to cool off during a hot day! There’s also Mundomar, a park with seal and dolphin shows. Finally there's Terra Mitica, to get your fix of rollercoasters.

Let’s not forget all of the possibilities for day trips! there is the stunning Villajoyosa with its colourful buildings and the city of Alicante. The castle of Santa Barbara is well worth a visit, with lifts that go all the way to the top, the views are stunning! The palm tree lined promenade stretches the length of the City. Alicante has beautiful old  buildings and an affluent marina, it stuck me that not only is it a nice day trip from Benidorm, it also is a great option for a city break.

Our villas in Benidorm are located in cozy, quiet places but with easy access to the city center and surrounding attractions.
