There are some beautiful places to visit here that are very easy to reach. Artà (approx. 8 km) and Capdepera (only 5 km) have managed to retain much of their original character and are a welcome alternative to the tourist resorts along the coast of the island. Both small towns are lively even in winter and offer a wide selection of restaurants and shops. And a visit to the natural bay of Cala Agulla is a must. The popular holiday resort of Cala Ratjada with its lively promenade offers a little more hustle and bustle. If you love golf as much as water sports, you have the choice between two excellent 18-hole golf courses nearby Canyamel and Capdepera Golf. A marvellous retreat for two, just 1.5 km southwest of Capdepera as the crow flies, nestled in the beautiful countryside in the east of the island. The 16,000 m² property offers fantastic opportunities for deliberate relaxation and those drawn to the sea have several beautiful beaches to choose from between 4 and 7 km away, including Cala Agulla, Platja de Son Moll or the coast of Canyamel.
