Bolzano is centrally located in southern South Tyrol in a valley, which is protected on three sides by mountain ranges. Here meet Etschtal, Eisacktal and Sarntal. The lowest point of Bolzano is at 232 metres above sea level on the river Adige, and the highest point is the Titschengipfel at 1616 metres. The city is not only worth seeing, but it also has wonderful hiking opportunities as you can imagine.
