Fiestas

Enjoy Spanish fiestas whilst staying in Villas in Canaries!

For those of you that love holidaying in Spain (holiday rentals Spain) you will of course be familiar with not only the year round sun in the Canaries, but also the year round ‘fiestas’ or festivals - in case you are struggling with the translation! The Canary Islands have a full calendar of events and fiestas all year. A good number of these are religious feast days, associated with patron saints. Others celebrate the end of the harvest period or are dedicated to music, theatre or Sport. The fiestas, which normally involve dancing, food and fireworks, are a wonderful experience, so whilst on holiday self-catering Spain enjoy them either from a far on your own private terrace looking on why not venture out to celebrate with the locals until the early hours of the morning!
