Best beaches in Spain

Spain offers many options if you want to spend a holiday by the sea, like the natural and rugged Costa Brava with its name meaning ‘wild coast’. This is ideal for trips to natural parks, monastery ruins or romantic coastal towns like Cadaqués. Or perhaps rent a villa further south on the Costa del Sol, where you can admire the Moorish traces of the past. The inner cities of Seville and Cordoba are true open air museums that have a lot to offer its visitors. Not least, the rentals in the Canary Islands or the Balearics form a strong attraction. Holidays in Spain with festivals

If you enjoy festivals, Spain has plenty to offer and for every budget! In Barcelona alone there are several music festivals per year to visit on your family holidays or with friends, including Primavera Sound, Sonar, Vida Festival and Cruilla Barcelona. More traditional festivals are also celebrated all across the country and are a large part of Spanish culture. For example, if you book a villa or apartment in Tenerife around May 30th, you could witness the customary Canarian Day festivities with music, traditional dress and special feasts. Strange and exciting festivals in Spain also include tomato throwing in Buñol, jumping over babies near Burgos and, if you rent a villa in Majorca, having a day-long talcum powder fight!

Holidays in Spain

Follow in the footsteps of kings

Naturally the Royal Family is a big focus of interest in Spanish society and culture as they carry out a wide range of public engagements. Therefore its members are subject to close scrutiny by the press, politicians and Spanish citizens in general. This is great for tourism as visitors can trace the footsteps of these leaders and monarchs whilst staying in our villas in Spain. Take, for example, the marriage of King Felipe to the journalist Letizia Ortiz at the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid, which was very much in the public eye. Now you can visit this cathedral from your holiday lettings in Spain and learn more about a pivotal moment in the history of Spanish monarchy.
