In the popular resort of San Vincenzo in the province of Livorno is a Dog Beach at Via della Principessa which opens its doors in the spring. Amenities at dog beaches

At most dog beaches you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Often there is also a dog shower available so you can rinse the salt water from the fur of dogs. In small stalls you can access drinking water and sometimes buy dog food. Especially in summer, it is important to make sure your four-legged friend has enough to drink. The general dog ban on public beaches is not always taken strictly in Italy - especially at night and during low season. With a little caution and mutual consideration of others enjoying the beach and for your holiday lettings Italy is the perfect place for a holiday with your dog!
