Visit Saplunara during a stay in our Croatia apartments
If you’d like to visit Saplunara during your stay in one of NOVASOL’s many Croatian villas, it is best reached by taking the ferry to Sobra. The waters are perfect for a relaxing bathe – not only are they flat and calm but they also reach temperatures of 28 degrees Celsius!
Sun and sand in Saplunara
The name of the bay comes from the latin word ‘sabalum’, which means sand. And indeed the sandy beaches of Saplunara are amongst the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic. In the immediate vicinity of the village’s church are three beautiful beaches, two of which are ideal for family holidays in Croatia as the water is shallow, clean and warm. The beach offers a fabulous mix of shaded areas, as well as plenty of sunshine. Alternatively, about two kilometres from Saplunara is a magnificent bay with shallow waters, beautiful sand and hardly any people. Be sure to visit some of the high-quality restaurants nearby.
