Sailing on Lake Sommen is a nature experience in a class of its own. Discover one of the 365 islands and enjoy what nature and the lake archipelago have to offer. You can also explore the beautiful nature around the lake on foot or by bike and have a picnic or experience the lake on the wood-fired steamboat S/S Boxholm II, one of Sweden's oldest and last wood-fired steamboats. If you prefer a slightly faster pace, we recommend Tranås Wakepark in the center of Tranås, next to Östanåpark. The park has a 200-metre-long cable car where you can practice water sports such as wakeboarding and wakeskating.
