Description

This modern holiday home is situated in a small hamlet in the heart of the Vezere Valley just 3kms from the village of Rouffignac. Found at the end of a country lane with breathtaking, south facing views across the undulating valleys from the private, its salt water pool is an ideal place for sunseekers and dinning outside during long, hot summer days. Light and airy this single storey house is easily accessible throughout. Fully equipped kitchen with a large american fridge & ice maker is south facing and along with the dinning area & covered terrace all look over the rear gardens where the pool is situated. 3 double bedrooms, all with ample hanging space. The master bedroom having adjustable comfort matresses & garden doors leading down to the pool area. The descreet, friendly French owners live in a small apartment building to the left of the driveway at the entrance, keen gardeners, the property is a haven of flowers & fruit trees that are all well maintained throughout the year. Privacy for all guests is guaranteed as neither property has direct views over the other & the pool is situated on a lower level behind the main house & for guests use only. There is much to explore in this area of the perigord Noir with local markets almost everyday of the week. Rouffignac cave is 5kms away great for the whole family as the electric train takes you around the visit with a guide. Montignac is 21km away (Lascaux caves 4, restaurants, music festivals,canoes) Le Bugue 18km (Tuesday market, Aquarium, all facilities) Les Eyzies 19km ( Monday market, kanoes, National museum of pre history, Font de gaume caves, restaurants) Perigueux 34km, (cathederal, shops, restaurants, cinema) Bergerac airport 61km.
