Exciting activities await you when you rent a holiday cottage in the Malaga area. There are mountains, beaches, gardens, or the big city. In Torros, and Frigiliana there are the glorious mountains. Voted the 'prettiest village in Andalucía' Frigiliana is also important from an historical viewpoint. It was the scene of the final bloody defeat of the Moors in 1569. Today the village is a tangle of narrow cobbled streets lined by whitewashed houses, wrought-iron balconies with planters of brilliant red geraniums, and small plazas.

Tejeda and Almiraja form a lovely backdrop for the blue Mediterranean. The Almiraja, a designated natural park of 40,663ha dominates this large and rugged mountainous region. Then head to Malaga, the fifth largest city in Spain where you will find many cultural and culinary experiences to partake of. Malaga is Picasso’s birthplace, and the city’s Picasso museum is fully worth the visit.
